“Foundation for further improvement”
Certified sustainability at the Wenden-Gerlingen site: In mid January, TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP received the certificate for its ISO 14001 environmental management system.

To meet their own high requirements for sustainability, TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP already decided back in 2023 to introduce ISO 14001 at the Wenden-Gerlingen site. The environmental standard not only offers a clear framework and structured basis for the company’s comprehensive sustainability initiative, but is also regarded as as an independent seal of quality.
In addition to this, the introduction of ISO 14001 is an essential component of the strategic objectives of the TSUBAKIMOTO parent company. The parent company pursues the SBTi targets and has the ambition to use this Science Based Targets initiative to be among the top 500 companies worldwide with regard to sustainability. This creates ambitious requirements and objectives for the entire TSUBAKI Group.
“With the certification to DIN EN ISO 14001, we are placing a bracket around all our sustainability activities,” explains Thorsten Hamann, Environmental and Energy Manager at TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP. “We are bundling environmental management, sustainability efforts, and Group requirements in a clearly structured, easily understandable form, laying a foundation for further improvement.”
