Aluminum hole stay system from TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP

The proverbial kid glove

Small component with great impact: The aluminum hole stays from the LG series by TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP improve the service life of the cable carrier and therefore the sustainability of the overall system. Other benefits: optimum routing even of heavy cables and hoses in the neutral bending line, highly flexible 1-mm increments, as well as easy installation and servicing.

“The less strain is placed on cables and hoses inside a cable carrier, the longer they will last,” explains Werner Eul, Head of Industry & Product Management at TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP. “Our aluminum hole stays are the proverbial kid glove in this context. The use of high-quality aluminum ensures particularly gentle guiding of the cables and hoses. This reduces the maintenance effort, minimizes downtime, and provides an important contribution to sustainability thanks to the extended service life of the components.”

The aluminum hole stays are manufactured specifically for the application at hand, taking into account the number, diameter, and positions of all cables in the cross section. This results in perfect guiding in the neutral bending zone. Using these customized dividers offers the advantage of minimizing the relative movements between cables/hoses and the stay to ensure optimum guiding at all times.

“Depending on the application, we offer our customers the hole stays as a divided version or as a single-part version,” explains Werner Eul. “This enables ideal guiding even of larger hoses, for example in hydraulic applications. And with our 1-mm increments up to 1 500 mm, we can perfectly adapt the hole stays to the available space.”

Screw connections make it easy to release the stays inside and outside, allowing easy access to the cable carrier and fast and simple installation of the cables and hoses, which saves time and money. The stay arrangement can be selected to suit the application at hand – fully-stayed (VS) on each chain link or half-stayed (HS) on every other chain link. In addition to the classic round version, other cross sections are also possible, for example for flat cables.

“With the aluminum hole stays, we offer an innovative solution that improves the service life and sustainability of our cable carrier systems and can be flexibly adapted to the customer’s requirements,” Werner Eul summarizes. “Due to their robust design, the stays are also ideal for use in heavy-duty applications, such as in steelworks or other areas with a harsh environment.”
