As a specialist for automated filling and testing systems in automotive final assembly, SAT Anlagentechnik GmbH from Dägeling in Germany benefits from the current change towards electromobility. SAT Anlagentechnik involved TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP to ensure rapid implementation of an ambitious large order. The experts for cable carriers delivered 24 configured TOTALTRAX systems for a total of eight Movable Combi filling systems.

The customized systems from SAT Anlagentechnik fill vehicles with liquid and gaseous media during the production process, in compliance with the highest quality and process standards. The “Combi” in the product name indicates that all media can be filled with a single system. It follows the assembly line (“Movable”) and carries out filling step by step in several cycles.

The customized all-in-one systems not only place high requirements on the production at SAT Anlagentechnik, but also on all suppliers. Cable carriers had to be supplied as a turnkey complete system for a large project overseas – a challenge that TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP readily accepted. The TOTALTRAX specialists took on not only the design, harnessing, and testing of the cable carrier systems, but also provided the complete documentation and suitable transport packaging for shipping. Due to their size, the filling systems and TOTALTRAX systems were separated and shipped in several units after a function test in Germany. This meant that re-assembly of the individual components at the destination had to be easy and quick.

TOTALTRAX: large modular system without material dogma
When configuring its customized TOTALTRAX systems, TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP always considers all its cable carrier ranges and components. This provides an extensive modular system that can be used to quickly generate an optimum solution for any requirement.

Three cable carriers from the UNIFLEX Advanced 1995 series are used in each of the filling systems from SAT Anlagentechnik. They impress with their variability for this application. The complete TOTALTRAX systems vary in the details and, in addition to the actual cable carriers, also comprise the harnessed cables and media hoses as well as the complete guide channels.

This prerequisite has resulted in a highly positive cooperation and successful implementation of the project.”
