At TOC Europe 2026, TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP will be presenting cable carrier systems for port terminals and container logistics from 19 to 21 May. These will include the TKHP high-performance cable carrier, roller damping and condition monitoring as well as system solutions for shore power systems.

TOC Europe is regarded as one of the central meeting points for port operators, terminal companies and technology providers. In Hamburg, the industry will be discussing how to automate transshipment processes, secure system availability and lower CO₂ emissions in port operations. This is exactly where the TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP solutions come into play, because innovative and secure hose and cable guiding is an infrastructure prerequisite for powerful crane systems, bulk goods handling and integrated shore power solutions.
TKHP high performance cable carrier
The TKHP high performance series is at the centre of the trade fair presentation. The robust cable carriers are designed for travel lengths up to 1500 metres in tough environments, for example on container bridges or bulk handling systems. Available in specifications 85 and 90 with an inner height of 58 or 92 millimetres, they can be adapted to different space requirements thanks to the 1-millimetre increments. Users can choose between a gliding or rolling version or one with integrated roller damping.

The design of the TKHP follows a clear principle: high stability and controlled transmission of forces. An encapsuled stroke system, self cleaning outer contours and reinforced pin holes increase the robustness. Solid side bands with bolted links and a double-fork tab design ensure structural stiffness. Wear-free damping in the stroke system and seawater-resistant aluminium opening stays protect the inserted cables and hoses even under high dynamic loads.
Roller damping and condition monitoring
One technical detail with a noticeable impact is the roller damping in the variants TKHP 85-RSD and TKHP 90-RSD. It reduces the mechanical load during movement over the rollers by up to 50 per cent, lowering noise emissions and reducing wear without any additional screws or springs.
TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP will also be presenting the expansion of its condition monitoring system. The option of recording wear also outside of the cable carrier without additional cables in the carrier is a new feature. Sensors in the guide channel or carrier slide measure the conditions of the glide shoes as well as push and pull forces to the nearest per cent. Limits can be defined specifically for each plant and integrated into existing control systems with free switching outputs.

Cable carriers for shore power systems
Cable carriers for shore power systems will be another topic at the trade fair. TSUBAKI KABELSCHLEPP uses cable carriers with roller guiding that run underground in the quay or in special guide channels on the quay edge. The materials used are designed for challenging environmental conditions. Depending on the application, suitable corrosion protection measures up to high protection ratings such as C5-M are used for individual components. Relevant regulations such as IEC 80005‑1 are adhered to where required. The systems have a modular design and are suitable for greenfield and brownfield projects. In addition to the hardware, the company offers engineering services from planning to commissioning as well as service over the entire life cycle – reliably delivered by its own service teams.
